Our Quality Management – The Foundation for High-Quality Diamond Tools
When it comes to the quality of our diamond tools, we make no compromises. To ensure our products consistently meet our own high standards as well as our customers’ requirements, quality management is given the highest priority in our company. The DIEWE quality assurance system has been independently certified according to the internationally recognized ISO 9001 standard, underscoring our commitment to excellence. By defining and certifying processes, measures, and goals to guarantee consistently high quality, we ensure that every employee is fully aware of the importance of this issue.
In our state-of-the-art quality assurance laboratory, we conduct extensive quality and durability tests to ensure that our products meet the highest standards. The laboratory, specially built for quality assurance, enables us—with the assistance of a cutting-edge robot—to inspect the quality of every batch before it is shipped.
The KR125/2 test robot from the robotics specialist KUKA is capable of simulating realistic test conditions and conducting comprehensive examinations of key quality criteria such as cutting speed, noise development, and wear. Based on the test results, we can continuously verify the quality of our diamond tools and initiate ongoing improvement measures. To ensure the highest degree of independence, we also have our products tested by external, neutral material testing institutes to verify that they meet the safety standards set forth in EN 13236.
The core of our quality management system is the continuous improvement process. Under the guidance of a quality manager, errors are not only analyzed but also addressed with appropriate measures. Through regular internal audits, we emphasize the importance of quality management within the company and continuously achieve steady progress.
Defined standard processes and the regular preparation and evaluation of quality reports form the framework for the development and refinement of our products. At the same time, we compile comprehensive complaint statistics and use them for the continual improvement of our diamond tools. However, quality management is by no means limited to internal company procedures. When selecting our material suppliers, we place the utmost importance on detailed evaluations and carry out comprehensive and meaningful sourcing.
