The secret of our success lies in the continuous development and high level of innovation of our products. Through ongoing research and development efforts and close contact with our customers, we consistently succeed in developing the diamond tools that customers from various industries need.
1975 to Today – From a One-Man Operation to a Globally Recognized Specialist.
When Johann Dietmair founded the company DIEWE in 1975 in his tranquil hometown of Asbach between Munich and Augsburg as a one-man operation, he probably had no idea of the success story that awaited the company. From the very beginning, the entrepreneur focused on stable partnerships and strong customer orientation with excellent service offerings.
The clear strategic focus on specialized trade quickly paid off: the company grew continuously and, by the mid-1990s, was able to achieve a significant increase in sales through the development of a professional field sales team. At the same time, the company invested in its own training facility for specialized dealers, thereby further increasing the awareness of its quality products.

By building its own test track at the end of the 1990s, DIEWE was able to establish an absolute unique selling point in the field of quality assurance and quality control. The test track ensured that the products met the company’s high quality standards and the demands of the customers.

Even after the turn of the millennium, DIEWE’s success story continued. The company expanded its portfolio to include machinery sales and from then on made a name for itself with table saws, angle grinders, and electric cutters. To further increase brand awareness, a custom presentation vehicle was designed for in-house exhibitions and information booths.
In 2014, the time had finally come: the founding location in Asbach no longer sufficed for the steadily growing company, so DIEWE relocated to Kissing.

By relocating, the company was able to further professionalize and digitalize its logistical processes. A dynamic warehouse management system with automatic, intelligent pathfinding for each picking operation, a constantly trackable production process, and daily pickups by two shipping partners and various freight carriers laid the foundation for further growth.
Today, DIEWE is, not without reason, one of Europe’s leading specialists in diamond tools with a global distribution network. Incidentally, the sister company DIEWE WHEELS was also founded in 2011. This specialist for aluminum rims now generates an annual turnover of nearly 10 million euros and has been spun off into DIEWE Wheels GmbH.

From the Master Drive Series to the DFX Cutting Disc – Milestones of a Success Story
The success of DIEWE is closely linked to the company’s innovative product developments. At this point, we would like to remember the most important milestones in our history:
Master-Drive-Series:
Contrary to the prevailing price decline in the tool market, DIEWE remained true to its principles and introduced new premium-segment blades with the Master-Drive series in the mid-1990s. With great success: As the first blade with overload protection, the series quickly made a name for itself and was known across industries for its high quality.
Twister Laser Cutting Disc:
The years following the turn of the millennium were marked by significant innovations. With the introduction of the Twister Laser disc as an advancement of the Master-Drive series, DIEWE succeeded in establishing a unique combination of self-cooling and noise reduction in the market. At the same time, the development of Germany’s first perforated disc was renowned for its exceptionally high cutting quality, thanks to the new carrier body.
DFX-Cutting Disk
With the development of the world’s fastest diamond cutting disc, the DFX series, another milestone has been achieved in the company’s history. Additionally, this new product is the first disc to utilize hollow sphere corundum as segment technology, thereby achieving great success.
